Flagging my risk management in South Korea
Rod’s reach has now extended to South Korea, working with the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is a fund established within the framework of the UNFCCC as an operating entity of the Financial Mechanism to assist developing countries in adaptation and mitigation practices to counter climate change.
The objective of the Green Climate Fund is to “support projects, programmes, policies and other activities in developing country Parties using thematic funding windows”.
Rod’s services were enlisted through UK based consultancy company AAR to develop a Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) methodology for the GCF. Working closely with another consultant based in Estonia, it truly is an international effort.
One thing is for certain – the weather in Incheon is somewhat different to Canberra at this time of the year.
