Our first guest on The Risk Arena Podcast is Paul Chivers. Paul is the Director & Senior Lecturer at The Risk Institute and the challenge producer of the two time Emmy Award winning show ‘The Amazing Race’ TV series. In this episode we discuss the best practices in managing risk.

Bio:

Paul Chivers is the Chief Risk Advisor for riskfacilitator and has over 20 years’ experience in developing, implementing and introducing risk management frameworks, programs and systems worldwide. He has worked in a range of industries internationally, which includes project and event management, TV and film, aviation, security, maritime, education sector, sport & recreation, healthcare, and defence.

Paul has successfully owned a number of international companies and authored risk management courses, studies and reports.  Paul’s unique knowledge of risk practice has allowed him to become a sought after risk facilitator with specialist expertise in team dynamics, and organisational behavioural psychology. Paul currently travels the world designing, profiling, auditing, and educating risk management intent, process and practice.
