A crisis is an incident that has occurred within an organisation that has the potential to damage its reputation. How the organisation reacts and responds to the crisis can have a significant impact on the public perception of the organisation.
There are many examples where the public relations response to a crisis has been less than ideal. In this course we explore a number of case studies in detail, including Dreamworld and American Airlines.
This course will provide participants with all the tools necessary to prepare for a crisis and the steps to be taken during the crisis. Specifically, the course will:
- Detail the organisational resilience environment
- Define what a crisis is
- Detail the steps organisations can take to prepare for a crisis that may impact them
- Detail the testing process
- Highlight the actions to be taken during the crisis
- Highlight the actions to be taken after the crisis
